Das Fleisch wird wunderbar zart und l\u00f6st sich beinahe von alleine vom Knochen. Die Paprika und der Bacon sind eine tolle Beilage zu den Ribs und runden das Ganze super ab. Wenn noch Zeit vorher ist, die Ribs in einer Marinade aus Apfelsaft, Apfelessig und BBQ-Rub \u00fcber Nacht einlegen.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-1928-step-0-1\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Den Boden mit Baconscheiben auslegen. Der Boden sollte gut bedeckt sein. Darauf dann die in scheiben geschnittenen Zwiebel verteilen.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-1928-step-0-2\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Als n\u00e4chstes die Spare Ribs ggf. noch einmal mit dem Rub einrubben, stapeln und gleichm\u00e4\u00dfig im Dutch Oven verteilt. Man kann sie auch \u201czusammenrollen\u201d und hochkant in den Topf stellen, aber gestapelt ist es handlicher und der Saft \"sickert\" nach unten \u00fcber die anderen.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-1928-step-0-3\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Jetzt noch einige Baconscheiben auf die Spare Ribs legen und \u00fcber alles dann die So\u00dfe geben. Die So\u00dfe wird aus der BBQ-So\u00dfe, dem Ahornsirup und ggf. einem kleinen Schu\u00df Apfelsaft gut zusammenger\u00fchrt.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-1928-step-0-4\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Nun den Deckel schlie\u00dfen und den Dutch Oven auf die Glut stellen und den Deckel mit Briketts f\u00fcr eine Topftemperatur von ca. 200 Grad belegen, 24, 16\/8 (nach Formel).<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-1928-step-0-5\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Nach ca. einer Stunde die Ribs einmal umschichten, die oberen nach unten und umgekehrt. Fl\u00fcssigkeit \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen und ggf. etwas Apfelsaft hinzuf\u00fcgen.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-1928-step-0-6\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Nach gut 2 Stunden bei ca. 200 \u00b0C sind die Spare Ribs im Dutch Oven dann fast fertig.<\/div><\/li><li id=\"wprm-recipe-1928-step-0-7\" class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><div class=\"wprm-recipe-instruction-text\" style=\"margin-bottom: 5px;\">Jetzt die Ribs noch einmal gut mit der So\u00dfe aus dem Dutch Oven einpinseln und \u00fcber direkter Hitze \u00fcber dem Grillrost oder im Smoker fertig grillen. Diser Schritt ist nicht unbedingt notwendig, gibt den Ribs aber ein \"crosseres\" \u00e4u\u00dferes!<\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n<div id=\"recipe-video\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"recipe-1928-notes\" class=\"wprm-recipe-notes-container wprm-block-text-normal\"><h3 class=\"wprm-recipe-header wprm-recipe-notes-header wprm-block-text-bold wprm-align-left wprm-header-decoration-none\" style=\"\">Notizen<\/h3><div class=\"wprm-recipe-notes\"><span style=\"display: block;\">Die Spare Ribs sind absolut zart und lecker. Nat\u00fcrlich schmecken sie anders, als wenn man sie auf dem Grill zubereitet hat: es fehlt das Raucharoma und auch die typisch-klebrige BBQ-So\u00dfe. Die Rippchen schmoren eher im eigenen Saft, als dass sie low und slow auf dem Grill liegen. Aber die Zubereitung im Dutch Oven ist trotzdem super und man spart gut ein Drittel der Zeit.
